SARAH JO - listen
Sarah Jo is a 22 year old solo songstress from the suburbs who enjoys storytelling through her music.
PATRICK WACLAW
Patrick is from a very small town in rural Indiana. He studied Music Business at Indiana State University where he played guitar in jazz combos, indie projects, a hip hop group, and drunken sing-a-longs with fellow music students. He has called Chicago home since May of 2016 for his love of a vibrant music scene, brewpubs, and the Cubs. He likes making music that creates a vivid image in one's mind, whatever that may be. Suggested listening includes William Tyler's "Modern Country," everything made by The Beach Boys, and Wilco's "Summerteeth.
DANNY COZZI (of All The Wine) - listen
Danny Cozzi is from the Chicago-based indie rock band All the Wine. Blending influences from punk, emo and rock n roll, the songs tell nostalgic stories reflecting on hope, uncertainty and loss.

Sludge Pop from Flint, Michigan and Chicago. Members of The Swellers and Kid Brother Collective.
NO THANK YOU - listen
Kaytee Della Monica came into the Philadelphia music scene at the age of 16 when she and some friends started the band Airports. Kaytee went on to pursue her visual arts degree at Moore College of Art studying Fine Arts with an emphasis in Sculpture. Video and music always had a strong influence in her artistic endeavors and many of the themes from her visual artwork have continued in her musical endeavors. In 2016 Kaytee, joined forces with two of her former bandmates, Nick Holdorf (In the Pines) and Evan Bernard (The Superweaks), to turn the music that had formerly existed only in notebooks and recordings on her iPhone into their new project as the band, No Thank You. Of the release of their debut EP, A Nü Start, Erin Blewett of The Key says “Raw acoustics, dreamy vocals, and stunning lyrics are a just a few of the things you can expect from new Philly artist No Thank You.” No Thank You released their debut album, Jump Ship in early 2017. The coming of age album pairs dreamlike sounds with dark lyrics to take you through scenes of friendship, betrayal, romance, death and addiction. Influences of their sound can be heard from Des Ark, Alanis Morissette, Rainer Maria and Pinback.
BRAVE FACE - listen

MILKED

Thu. Jun. 29 - 9:00 pm - 21+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
MILKED - listen
Milked is the project of Kelly Johnson (ex-Geronimo!). You can place your dislike or indifference of its music squarely on his shoulders. The rest of Geronimo! comprises the live band for Milked. Geronimo! is still good friends. The songs from Death on Mars, Milked’s first “proper” full-length, were written by Kelly Johnson in the spring/summer of 2015, right after Geronimo! ended. They were recorded with Nicholas Papaleo through the summer of 2015 – fall of 2016. The album features Matt Schwerin (ex-Geronimo!), and Andrew and Nate Lanthrum (Troubled Hubble).
POST CHILD - listen
"Post Child writes perfect pop gems that throb with massive hooks, interesting textures, and superglue-sticky melodies.” -Chicago Reader
BOW & SPEAR - listen
Like wine squeezed from a kiss on a rose from a grave or hot death from an exhaust pipe.
SAT. NITE DUETS - listen
Emanating from the heartland, Sat. Nite Duets make rock music that evokes the spirit and candor of the Midwest’s greatest outsiders. Imagine the heroism of GBV thrown against the self-reproach of the Violent Femmes and you're halfway there. Pepper on some of the depravity of Jimmy and Dennis Flemion and you’re basically in the homestretch. But there’s something else going on here too, something that has to do with how most of the members have played music together since middle school, how collectively they’ve probably listened to The Basement Tapes and Blue Album like 3 million times.

NEIGHBORHOOD BRATS

Fri. Jun. 30 - 9:00 pm - 21+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
NEIGHBORHOOD BRATS - listen
Cliche as it may sound, Neighborhood Brats bring punk back down to earth. They make the room less aware of how serious everyone is about themselves. Going to a punk show nowadays can sometimes feel like a chore. I know punk can still be about community, friends, getting wasted, not giving any fucks about what anyone thinks, and above all, just having fucking fun. It seems like Neighborhood Brats never lost that.
ENDLESS COLUMN (members of Daylight Robbery, The Observers, Red Dons, Tyrades)
ENDLESS COLUMN delivers garage rock with surfy/psychedelic undertones and melodic vocals. This four-piece ensemble features members of RED DONS, DAYLIGHT ROBBERY, and THE BUSY SIGNALS.

THE COLDIES
Chicago punk band kicking back coldies.

SNOOZE

Sat. Jul. 01 - 9:00 pm - 21+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
SNOOZE - listen
Snooze is a happy, heavy mathrock band from the Chicago burbs.
SEWINGNEEDLE - listen
Chicago's Sewingneedle is made up of three deeply troubled and unhealthy dudes. Turned loose on the world in 2011, its members (Cream Kickin' Drake, Reuben Eatin' Calvin, and Truly Upset For the Wrong Reasons Danny) were raised by a single father in the suburbs of the Greater Chicagoland area, communicating by only semaphore for years while their father toiled to pay for music lessons, brewery classes, and something called "Geophysics competitions". Dude never once got a thank you. Sewingneedle's first album came out in June of 2015, and pretty quickly they were compared to such great Chicago-based rock bands as Pinebender and .22. They transcend these comparisons, creating a pretty unholy noise that's equal parts melody, pummel, and sophistication. Or 1/3 part each, with a tiny bit more given to PUMMEL. They play as if they've known each other since little times. Which they have, if you remember the above-paragraph about their long-suffering, single father who worked endlessly for these ingrates. Sewingneedle has recently been in the studio, completing work on their next album, User Error. Recorded and mixed yet again by the hilarious and capable Greg Norman (GY!BE, Pinebender, Asunders, Bottomless Pit), this banger will be out sometime by the end of 2017. They plan on playing a few shows throughout the summer, and continue to ignore calls from their brilliant, broken father. Straight to voicemail, y'all. That's how they roll. – Ike Turner (Minutes, OUT), Sewingneedle band dad.
HAYMARKET RIOT - listen
Taking a good piece of the Jesus Lizard's groove 'n' grind and then texturing that with strident punk chords and almost prog guitar licks, Haymarket Riot defy categorization. They definitely fall a bit more on the punk end of the spectrum, but they mix things up with a lot of other influences and some very unique songwriting. The base of Haymarket Riot's sound is the heavy, emotional Midwestern punk sound that descends from bands like Husker Du and Naked Raygun but there's awhole lot more than just soul-bearing going on here. In particular, Haymarket Riot are particularly ambitious arrangers, dropping instruments in and out of the mix with a dub-inspired glee.
THE TOMBLANDS - listen
THE TOMBLANDS are a 4-piece indie rock band originally formed founded amidst the college haze of Champaign-Urbana. Since relocating to Chicago, they've played everywhere from sweaty Logan Square garages and Humboldt Park basements to packed Empty Bottle, Elbo Room and Township shows. A delicate blend of garage, indie, punk and surf rock influences, they've shared stages with indie heavyweights such as Twin Peaks and Titus Andronicus and have just finished recording their first professional EP at Treehouse Records, to be released this Spring.

WARM ONES - listen
Warm Ones is a noisy ATV for Tony Sackett's three-minute and under pop song grenades. Their style is best described as "violently catchy guitarpop." Covering fire is provided by guitarist Mike Wszolek, bassist Mike Metz and beatman Jon Adler. Warm Ones have recently followed up their first full album "Sprezzatura" with their new EP "Lena." They have been described as "hot" and "that was fucking awesome," so I guess that's all that matters.

HASTINGS 3000
Hastings 3000 is a one person conceptual rock show with a gas mask, psychotic guitars (sometimes double-neck bass and guitar), a smoke machine, pounding tribal beats, lasers, 60's sci-fi samples, and socially conscious political lyrics. While deconstructing the traditional rock n' roll band, Hastings 3000 plays a stripped down partially homemade drum kit that he can play using both of his feet, playing guitar and bass with either his hands or a pencil, and singing through a distorted echo-plex with the high energy stylings of 70's punk to retro 80's electro. Hastings 3000 plays approximately forty-seven different instruments and performs live typically playing seven at the same time. The debut album is entitled, "A New Monster". The album was released on Bare Ass Records (Kailua, HI) and distributed in Japan by Chicken Katsu Records (Okinawa, Japan). FUCK YOU, IDIOT - listen
Fuck You, Idiot is Jonathan, Kate, Kyle and Miles, and only goes by "FYI" in inter-band text messages, so don't forget. Born out of a common disdain for self-appointed scene icons in the winter of 2013, they play straight ahead summertime pop punk jams all year round. The name is a message to all the dolts whose dumb opinions are only outweighed by their irrelevance, and the songs are for the people who still give a shit. Death to false punk! Kinda like Manowar, but not really.
THE CAPITALIST KIDS - listen
Over the past nine years, the Capitalist Kids have released four 7” records, two CDs, and three full-length LPs on labels such as Hang Up, SP(Japan), Toxic Pop, It’s Alive, Rad Girlfriend, Brassneck(UK), and Eccentric Pop Records. If you do the math, that’s a release per year! Not too shabby. The band clearly has a passion for what they do, and their continuing growth as a band can be seen with each new album. The band has toured the U.S. extensively, and played such destinations as Death to False Hope Fest, Gainesville Fest, Insubordination Fest, and Awesome Fest. They’ve toured Europe as well, and have plans to go back overseas in 2018. They’ve had the opportunity to play with some of their heroes, like the Dickies, Joe Jack Talcum, and the Mr. T Experience.
With a new album (their best work yet) on a new label with legitimate distribution, and a month-long tour featuring the band’s first-ever stops in Canada, the Capitalist Kids momentum seems to be stronger than ever.
KRAYOLA - listen
In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire Krayola.
SURFER MOON - listen
Outsider pop.

FLORAL PRINT - listen
Floral Print is comprised of Nathan Springer and Paul DeMerritt, two bespectacled friends living in East Atlanta. Beginning in the latter half of 2014, the pair quickly developed an earnest and expressive approach to songwriting. Goldflakepaint described their debut mini-album woo as “gloriously vague, the kind of emo-rock/post-pop hybrid that rumbles away in the shadow before suddenly appearing in the forefront of everything.” They’ve since maintained a consistent presence on the East Coast and Midwest, touring in support of new material as well as old.

THE TROLLS
Crafted with the elegance and grace of Guy Fieri writing a futuristic robot sequel to "Les Miserables," The Trolls have arrived. Ham-fisted Chicago garage rock born out of boredom, blood and basements.
KING CARDINAL - listen
Any flannel clad Bon Iver disciple can pick up an acoustic guitar and throw together a few bleeding-heart tunes dealing with well-worn folk tropes like love, loss and atonement. But only a select few can dig deep enough to transform cliché into palpable, gut-wrenching feeling. Enter Brennan Mackey, brainchild behind Denver-based group King Cardinal.
KEITH CAMPBELL - listen
"Americana music from Chicago. I used to play around in some bands, and this is what I am doing now. Sometimes I play with some friends, and sometimes it's just me."

LOST BALLOONS (members of of Marked Men, Radioactivity, Blotto, and Suspicious Beasts) - listen
Texas and Japan team up for a trans-Pacific, 2 man summertime pop explosion! Lost Balloons are Jeff Burke (Radioactivity, Marked Men, etc etc) and Yusuke Okada (of Japan’s incredible Suspicious Beasts). Hey Summer is their 2nd album, following 2015’s self-titled debut on German’s Alien Snatch Records. (one of the few Marked Men-related records of recent years that Dirtnap DIDN’T put out!) The 2 play all the instruments (although there is a live lineup as well) and split singing/songwriting duties. Hey Summer works fantastically well as an ALBUM, meant to be listened to from start-to-finish.
Wistful, sunshiney 60’s-inspired pop with a bit of 80’s college rock jangle and even a little modern garage/Americana twang, Hey Summer represents a pretty big departure from a normal Jeff Burke project. (and although it’s sonically a LITTLE closer to Okada’s Suspicious Beasts, it veers farther afield of his normal songwriting comfort zone as well) Jeff says that this album is probably the least “punk” record he’s ever done. We would agree, but don’t think that that is a bad thing. Rather it confirms what we’ve long suspected: That these two can master any genre that they tackle, and make it fully their own.
PRIMITIVE TEETH (members of Violent End, Split Feet, Daylight Robbery, Chronic Seizure) - listen
Primitive Teeth consists of Keara on drums and backing vocals, Christine on guitar and vocals, and Bryan on bass and backing vocals.
BULLNETTLE
